Desperate to get Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) back to normal, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) visits Dr. Rolf. In an interesting twist, Xander is honest with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and admits they can’t get married right now. Then, Xander brings Gwen to the meeting.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Xander’s heart was torn apart when his wedding day turned into a nightmare. Of course, Xander had no clue that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) was impersonating Sarah.

Eventually, Xander moved on with Gwen. Once again, Xander would have his heart broken when “Sarah” came back to Salem, this time being impersonated by both Gwen and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Now that the real Sarah is back, Gwen worries that the doctor’s memories will come back. In the meantime, Xander is doing everything he can to get Sarah to remember.

Gwen was relieved and ecstatic when Xander proposed to her. Since the proposal, Xander has repeatedly assured Gwen that he still wants to marry her. Xander will do that once again but there’s a catch. Xander admits that he still plans on spending his life with her but can’t move on until he helps Sarah.

Of course, fans know that the minute Sarah remembers her identity and which man she truly loves, “Xarah” will be back on. There’s a part of Gwen that knows this too, especially when her schemes are exposed.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of March 21 reveal that Sarah is getting treatment in the hospital. However, Sarah’s delusion isn’t going away so easily. This will make Xander even more desperate to help Sarah.

Xander will pay a visit to Dr. Rolf. Not only does Xander see the mad scientist, but makes a gesture to show Gwen he’s still committed to her. Xander brings Gwen to the meeting with Dr. Rolf. In Xander’s mind, he thinks this should prove to Gwen that he has pure intentions. However, what Xander doesn’t know is that Gwen and Dr. Rolf have a history together.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Gwen Rizczech Panics

As fans recall, Gwen drugged Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) before the truth about Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) secret love child came to light. Dr. Rolf promised Gwen that the drug would “melt Abigail’s brain.” Abigail did go insane, but her brain didn’t melt. In fact, Abigail was able to recover thanks to a specialist in Florida.

Dr. Rolf and Gwen had an agreement, which nobody has ever discovered. Dr. Rolf might not expose his pact with Gwen but he won’t do it out of the kindness of his heart. Dr. Rolf will want something in exchange. That could force Gwen to dig an even deeper hole for herself. Would it be better for Gwen to just confess to everything? Probably, but fans know that’s not going to happen. Just how far will Gwen go and could Dr. Rolf actually earn some kind of redemption?
