It’s the first day of fall and the DOOL summer murder mystery finally gets solved when it hit Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) who really killed his beloved wife, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). Suspect after suspect has been cleared and Chad kept coming back to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) as the culprit, but he finally realizes it wasn’t Leo at all.

With Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), Lucas Horton (Bryan R. Dattilo), and Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) crossed off the list and Leo insisting on his innocence, who is the person who really killed Abigail? We are about to find out.

Leo thinks the culprit is Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) and he is trying to seek revenge on him for running his life. Now that Craig is back in town, Leo confronts him but it is still so hard for him to believe that Craig is a cold-blooded killer.

Does Craig make a confession and prove Leo right or do the two men sit down and discuss what really went on between them and all those unresolved feelings? Leo really did fall for Craig although he never intended to so it became more than just a con. However, Craig skipped town fast and now he is ready to make amends — or take more revenge.

It turned out that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) didn’t need Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) testimony about Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) after all because the judge had already made her decision about Rache’s custody. We learned that Chloe Lane was the one who made that happen when she quietly slipped a recording of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) attacking her to the judge.

Brady still can’t believe his luck but he is also shocked when he learns the length that Chloe went to ensure that he keeps his daughter. The question is — what will Kristen do when she learns of Chloe’s actions? These things can’t remain a secret forever and Chloe is going to have to watch her back.
