Why Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) frequently lets Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) have the upper hand in his life is beyond us. She is constantly making threats and demands and he is constantly giving in to her. Now, it’s about that orchid that somehow manages to save Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) life. Kristen handed it over and now Brady begrudgingly does his part by breaking up with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).

He tells her it’s for Rachel’s sake and Chloe is just dumbfounded because she already made the suggestion last week and Brady wouldn’t even hear of it. So, she finally decided that Brady is the right one for her and she would open herself completely to him and never think of anyone else.

She even tries to make amends with Kristen for Rachel’s sake with Kristen laughing inside knowing just how much Chloe will be hurt.

DOOL Spoilers – Chloe Lane Is Just Dumfounded

When Brady does tell Chloe that they can’t be together anymore she is beyond hurt and confused. She just can’t believe he allowed herself to fall for Brady once again and then this happened. This has been happening since she was a teen, but she never seems to learn.

“There’s been this whole back and forth of Chloe trying to push Brady away and put the brakes on things for a bit and Brady kept insisting, ‘No, no, no,'” Nadia Bjorlin said in the October 24, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Then, all of a sudden, he does a 180. Chloe’s like, ‘What did I miss? What just happened? We’re you leading me on this entire time. Chloe’s given no explanation.”

Chloe will also have Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) to contend with, who believes he is still in love with Chloe thanks to Kristen and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) brainwashing.
