Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal more clowns than we ever needed in Salem, but they are all in poor Bonnie’s head.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Two Clowns Weren’t Enough

Just as we thought the Salem Clown Story was finally over, we get to see more clowns courtesy of Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) mind. Justin Kirkiakis (Wally Kurth) knew that Bonnie had a hard time after her first kidnapping and was living in fear, but the second kidnapping with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) dressed as a clown to fool her apparently did her in.

While Bonnie is out with her family, things go from bad to worse as she blinks for a second, and then everyone is dressed like a clown, at least according to her eyes.

“Bonnie is seeing the face of the clown who kidnapped her,” Judi Evans said in the December 26, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “She’s with her family, turns away for a second, and when she looks back, she sees everybody with that clown face on. It’s very weird and frightening.”

When Justin sees how distressed his wife is, Bonnie has to admit that she is seeing clowns everywhere so Justin suggests that she might be suffering from PTSD and should maybe talk to Dr. Marlena Evans about what she is going through. Bonnie balks at the idea at first, but then rethinks things.

“At first, Bonnie resists,” Evans told Digest. “She doesn’t want to feel that she’s crazy. Yet, she knows that psychiatrists do help people and she doesn’t want to continue this way because it happened more than once.”

Will Marlena be able to give Bonnie the help she needs? After all, we are headed toward the end of the year and Marlena is slated to get sick again when that magical orchid disappears.

Also, Bonnie still has this nagging feeling about Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) that just won’t go away and she is not sure what to do about it. Considering that he is the one who kidnapped her when she was heading to the garden shed, she should have a bad feeling.
