Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) hasn’t had it easy these past few months thanks in large part to the Devil. Not only did the demonic force break up Jake’s relationship with Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus), but he attacked Jake in person. He’s been through quite a lot and may soon find himself needing comfort. But instead of Gabi, look for Jake to turn to Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun). Jake’s encounter with the devil may lead to love for Ava and Jake, despite Gabi’s protests!

Ava herself is at a crossroads herself. After realizing that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gerring) had been cheating on her with Nicole Walker (Arianna Zucker), Ave retaliated in the best way that she knows. She used her mob connections to have Rafe, the Police Commissioner, arrested for fabricating evidence. Ava was eventually caught and arrested. But she made a deal with the district attorney and went free. Having no place to live, Ava agreed to stay with Jake!

DOOL Spoilers – Platonic Roommates!

Jake and Ava agreed to sleep in separate beds, with Jake taking an air mattress on the floor. Eventually, they decided to share the bed platonically. But after Jake’s ordeal with the devil, he may need more than just a platonic roommate. He may need real comfort. And as much as Ava and Jake have agreed to not get physical, Jake may let his guard down after his dangerous encounter with the devil.

While trying to help Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal), the devil knocked Jake out. Later, Jake agreed to be hypnotized by Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). He couldn’t find the missing Ciara, but still, the encounter may have proved to be too much to handle alone. As he relays the events to Ava, friendship might very well turn to passion. Will Ava and Jake find romance amid all the chaos?
