Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Abe Is Torn Between Paulina And Lani!

Days of our Lives spoilers tease that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) would do just about anything for Lani Price (Sal Stowers). Abe believed for many years that Lani was his daughter, and even though that turned out to be not true, he still loves her just as much as he ever did. But Abe also loves Paulina Price (Jackee Harry), Lani’s mother, so he is understandably at a loss right now. While Paulina has confessed to shooting TR Coates (William Christian), viewers know that it was really Lani who shot and killed her biological father.

Lani arrived at Paulina’s house not long after discovering that TR had shot Lani’s husband, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) when Eli discovered drugs in TR’s possession. Wanting everyone to believe he no longer used heroin, TR grabbed Eli’s gun and left him dead after the bullet hit Eli in the head.

TR also framed his drug dealer by making killing him and making it look like he was the one Eli was going to arrest. But Eli eventually recovered and was able to recount to his wife exactly what happened. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Lani rushed to confront TR, who was trying to talk Paulina into having a romantic weekend with him away from Salem.

Before TR could whisk Paulina away, Abe showed up to tell Paulina that he still loved her. TR tried to get Abe to leave and when Ave refused, TR struck Abe with a weapon and Abe fell to the ground, bleeding and unconscious. That was the horrifying sight that greeted Lani when she arrived, without a thought, she shot TR who bled out and died shortly after.

Pauline was understandably distraught and asked Lani out loud what did she did. Not wanting Lani to have to face jail time, Paulina confessed to shooting TR with Lani’s gun so that Lani’s young children won’t lose their mother. Lani allowed Paulina to lie for her and when Eli figured out the truth, he advised Lani to let Paulina take the blame,

But Paulina’s confession doesn’t make sense to Abe, who swore he heard Paulina ask Lani what she did as he was drifting in and out of consciousness. Further complicating things is that Paulina claims, she took the gun from Lani’s holster in order to shoot TR, which is not a simple thing to do, Abe will wonder how Paulina managed to get the gun from Lani and shoot it before Lani could stop her.

Lani is a police officer and should have been able to protect her own weapon. Abe will insist that Paulina come clean, but she will tell Abe to stop asking questions. This will put Abe in a terrible position, if he pursues the truth, Lani could go to prison. But Abe loves Paulina as well and wants to spend his life with her. Abe may have to sacrifice Lani in order to save Paulina.
