What would a DOOL Christmas be if the Hortons didn’t hang their ornaments on Christmas Eve? It wouldn’t be the soap we all know and love, that’s for sure. Thankfully, some Hortons make it back to Salem for Christmas, including Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey).

Jennifer is back from rehab and spends some time with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) at Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) grave. That is where Chad ‘sees’ Abigail and she tells him it is ok to move on with his life.

Julie is thrilled to have Eli back in the fold as he brings her great-grandchildren, Jules and Carver, to the family gathering. They don’t have Lani Grant with them, but Eli still plans to be with her and the babies on Christmas Day. The Hortons also welcome back Will Horton (Chandler Massey), who is there to be with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and Arianna Horton.

DOOL Spoilers – A New Ornament — And Some Trouble

This year, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) gets his very own Horton ornament now that he is married to Sarah Horton Cook (Linsey Godfrey). He still can’t believe his luck and that he married into such a family. However, his luck might be running out.

Xander and Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) are hiding quite a few secrets from Sarah and the rest of the Horton clan, but the walls are closing in on them. They never expected that it would be a child who rats them out, but little Thomas DiMera finds something that completely surprises him. We all know kids just can’t ever keep a secret, especially a Salem child.

What he is about to say could ruin everything for Xander and Gwen unless they can find a way to keep the child quiet. We all know Salem kids are feisty and not above using bribery.
