Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that fans got a stunning jolt in the Wednesday, July 27 episode of their favorite daytime drama when a character from a legacy family was killed off—just like that, out of nowhere. In a move no one saw coming, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) fell victim to a petty thief and left his love Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) gobsmacked.

The title is Wealth of Pigeons and perhaps fans can envision his alter ego getting a kick out of the title, happy his garage mechanic days are behind him. In the adjacent pic Brandon is still standing, but with a different book in his hand, Handbook for the Recently Deceased. There’s a huge bloodstain on his shirt and a frowning look of confusion on his face.
