Danny Walters Makes Shock Return As Keanu Taylor On EastEnders

EastEnders spoilers, news, and updates tease that Danny Walters makes a shocking return as Keanu Taylor. His character appears on the last part of the December 13 episode.

As the previous episode comes to an end, Keanu appears following the emotional tribute of Walford residents for Dot Branning (June Brown). The character’s return was kept under wraps, so no one really knows why he’s back in town.

Walters shared that he wanted to return after hearing Chris Clenshaw explain some of the storylines.

“I’m very privileged to be coming back in such an iconic episode. The way I’m playing him now, there’s a new type of character that you’ll see from Keanu – there’s a very different side to him,” Walters said.

Keanu has been the man of the house. He didn’t have a father figure growing up, so he wants to be different from his dad. He reverts to his old habits but eventually realizes that he’s becoming just like his father, so he tries to change his ways.

His time in Portugal has taught him a lot of things. He had time to mature and to realize that he needs to take hold of his future, and returning to the Square can help him achieve that goal.

Keanu returns to the Square so he can build a relationship with his son and to rekindle his relationship with Sharon.

When asked how he kept his return to the show a secret, the actor said that he’s been making excuses. He always says he’s playing golf. But he told some that he’s reprising his role including his mum, dad, and brother.

He admitted that it’s been difficult for him to keep a secret, especially from his family. However, he respects Chris and the show, so he did all he can to keep his character’s return a secret.

EastEnders Spoilers-  What’s Next For Keanu Taylor?

Keanu’s return to the Square drew mixed reactions. He’s been away for three years, and he decides to come back with bigger plans. His family warns that he’ll be in danger once Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) finds out that he’s back.

But Keanu has something else in mind. He meets up with DCI Keeble and says, “I hear you’re looking to destroy Phil Mitchell. I want in.” Fans will have to wait and see what these two have in store for Phil.
