According to a recent clip, the relationship between Liz Woods and Ed Brown may be rockier than shown on 90 Day Fiancé.
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans have doubted the relationship between Liz Woods and Big Ed Brown from the start. So many red flags were waving for fans, especially after his failed relationship with Rosemarie Vega. They may be engaged and planning to marry, but according to a new clip, their relationship could be a lot rockier than we think.
A teaser from Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? shows Liz Woods talking about Ed Brown’s tactics of verbal manipulation. Fans already know that problems are emerging from the TLC reality stars’ relationship. Meanwhile, their relationship has been featured on several TLC reality shows, including 90 Day: The Single Life, and through to season 7 of Happily Ever After?
However, this isn’t the first time fans have seen Big Ed making waves, starting with his time with Rosemarie Vega in season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Many viewers found his comments toward the young Filipina to be patronizing and insulting. However, his latest foray into reality TV has made him an even less liked cast member.
Ed’s relationship with Liz began off-screen when he regularly dined in the restaurant she managed. However, it went on to be a part of 90 Day: The Single Life, and, at first, it seemed to be doing fine. However, since then, various before-and-after photos of Liz have led fans to deem Ed a “sanity vampire” due to the seeming drop in her happiness and well-being.
According to a teaser clip for the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? released by E! News, cracks are starting to show. In the clip, Liz confides to a friend that fans’ theories could have some truth in them. In fact, Woods says she believes Ed doesn’t necessarily want to see her “grow or succeed.” Moreover, she believes he wants her to need him more, saying:
I feel like I’m the one person so far that’s kind of been in his life that’s never needed anything from him.
In fact, the only time she finds Ed supportive is when she goes to the gym. Speaking of her fitness routine, Liz noted that he “will look through photos and be like, ‘Oh, do you ever think about getting back to that size?’” She added that this is “kind of insulting” and she doesn’t feel pretty.
Moreover, Woods says in the clip that she hopes Ed would love her, no matter what. In fact, on her side, she says she has loved him “at his heaviest and his smallest” since she has been with him.
Right now, Ed is about to have major surgery in what could probably be a change in lifestyle. It is now unclear if he will be able to change enough to save his relationship with Liz. In fact, her comments are similar to some made by Ed early in his relationship with Rosemarie. At that time, he made backhanded comments about her appearance that were caused by factors beyond her control.
While his comments to Rosemarie could be dismissed as a small error, Big Ed Brown has established himself as a villain on 90 Day Fiancé that fans cannot ignore. Now, with recent comments made by Liz, it looks like his role as a villain has once again come to the fore.
