Furthermore, Derick felt upset because his father-in-law allegedly forced Jill to stay on the TV show after the molestation news emerged. If you follow the TLC family at all, you will be familiar with the confession by Josh that he assaulted his sisters when he was younger. Fans applaud Derick for standing by his wife.

Last year, Counting On fans saw that when Samuel celebrated his birthday, Jana Duggar was there, but not Michelle. Well, Jill explained that her mom sent some gifts for her son. Still, people wondered if they tried to make amends over the family fall-out. In fact, Jill did say that it takes time for healing to happen. And, she prayed about it. During the trial of Josh Duggar in December, Derick appeared in court to watch the proceedings. Jill and Derick didn’t seem to spend time chatting like besties with her dad. But now, it looks like some mending might be happening.

On February 15, Jill took to her Instagram and told her fans that they enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day. Derick and Jill enjoyed a delicious meal. Plus, the family enjoyed pizza and cupcakes. One photo revealed a bunch of red roses.

Of interest, when the Counting On alum said that the family spoiled them with nice things, she hinted that things might be on the mend. In her caption, she tagged the @duggarfam account. That account is where her mom and dad put all their public posts.

Rumors Might Inflate The Fallout

Counting On fans might assume that nothing is mendable between Jill and her parents. And, that relates to the fact that Derick is particularly outspoken against his father-in-law and his political career.
