Counting On: Critcisim Arrives As Duggar Boys Assist With Relief In Ukraine

Counting On fans often see the Duggar boys fly into areas where disasters happen. They’ve been seen in Haiti, the Bahamas, and more. With Ukraine in desperate need of volunteers to assist with refugees, will Medic Corps fly off and assist in Europe? Well, it looks like they plan on going there. And yet, amidst calls for people to help the country, some folks don’t seem very complimentary. Why is that?

Counting On – Medic Corps Dispatch To Ukraine

Duggar family criticism rose a lot after the arrest and conviction of Josh Duggar. Found guilty of possessing child p–n, the shadow seems to have blackened the popularity of the entire family.; Admittedly, in the past, TLC fans had little time for Jim Bob, Michelle, and Josh, but it now seems to also harm the reputations of the other Duggar boys. As they always seem to go out and assist others in time of need, if you don’t follow the show, you might not understand why fans don’t want them in Ukraine.

Counting On fans know that John David Duggar is a pilot and he volunteered as a constable in Arkansas. So, he seems to have some useful training and experience. The Medics Corps page claims to be a registered NGO with the IRS. On their website, they state: “MEDIC Corps is a non-profit organization made up of people just like you. We are honored to help communities around the globe with emergency medical care, professional training, air evacuation, critical infrastructure, disaster intervention and response-based support.” So, why the negativity about them helping out Ukraine?

Without A Crystal Ball on Instagram seemed particularly scathing went the news arrived about Ukraine. Well, it’s an easy bet that if they don’t volunteer, then TLC fans would slam them for hypocrisy and not volunteering. So, either way, they end up being roasted. So, there must be a good reason for all the negativity. Apart from the fact that fans hate the way Jim Bob historically treated the females in his family, what else triggered so many people?

Counting On fans know that when the Duggar family took part in the relief efforts for Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas, some negative reports arrived.  Leat’s clear up something before we go any further. Starcasm noted that fans should not confuse the Duggar relief outfit with “Medicorps, a non-profit international volunteer organization and charity that got its start in the late 1970s.” In fact, “MEDIC Corps [is] a limited liability corporation formed in December [2018] by John David Duggar, Kenneth Bates, and Dr. Esli Gollapalli.”

Counting On – Reports Of Bad Behavior From The Bahamas

James Lee complained about the Counting On family in the Bahamas. He was there with some other crowd and is known as a storm chaser and cinematographer. Allegedly, they flew in nice food and took over conditioned premises while other NGOs roughed it out. Accusing them of dodgy behavior, allegations arrived that they commandeered “the FBO, vehicles, fuel, etc and wouldn’t allow other NGOs to use the things that they “commandeered.”

well, it will be interesting to see if that goes down well in Ukraine. At this stage, it’s not clear if they actually set foot in the country, or work with relief workers in the refugee stations inside neighboring countries.
