Counting On rumors arose that Derick and Jill Dillard might live a better life as he reportedly passed his bar exam. Applicants sit twice a year, in February and July. Well, if he did pass in 2022, then he and Jill kept remarkably quiet about it. Fans thought they didn’t want haters to know where he was working. Now, many people suspect that they might actually move to Oklahoma for a new job.

Whilst the TLC alums didn’t talk too much about a new job for Derrick, Jill did reveal that they put their Arkansas house up on the market. So, fans assumed that he’d passed his bar exam and gotten a better-paying job. Recall, for years he worked as a delivery person while he studied. Certainly, those must have been tight times for them. After all, he alleged that Jim Bob Duggar didn’t pay him for his appearances on the show.

Counting On fans heard that Derick had major issues with his father-in-law for a number of reasons. One of those pointed to the fact that Jill was one of Josh Duggar’s molestation victims. However, her dad allegedly insisted that she remain on the TLC show after the news leaked. So, when she and her other sisters lost their case again the county for leaking their names, Jill was furious. In fact, she said that protecting innocent victims is what motivated he husband to study law.

Counting On Rumors – Moving To Oklahoma For Derick’s Job

Redditors are sometimes excellent sleuths and they dug up some info about Derick Dillard’s job. u/fg2602 shared a link on the r/DuggarsSnark subreddit on May 11. The caption noted that Derick seems to be “working in Oklahoma.” Well, on the website of The Arkansas Judiciary, he updated his work address as being in Stilwell. Actually, if they do move there, it’s not exactly a thousand miles away form Jim Bob Duggar.

One Counting On critic noted that the place is “Less than an hour from Tonitown,” adding, “Thought they would go further.”

Meanwhile, another contributor said, “That’s really close to the Fayetteville AR area. They don’t seem to be going too far.”

Talking about Derick and Jill’s feud with Jim Bob Duggar, another person noted, “Eh, it’s like four hours if you stop to pee and get road trip snacks; three if your dad doesn’t care about tolls, blocks out your sister’s complaining, and takes the estimated arrival time on the GPS as a personal challenge.”

Just because Counting On alum Derick Dillard landed a job in Oklahoma, doesn’t necessarily mean that Jill and their sons will relocate out of Arkansas. A follower suggested, “maybe they’d move to Siloam Springs, AR? It’s about 30 miles from Stilwell and Jill follows some of the local IG pages already, like the Siloam Springs library.”
