Chrisley Knows Best: Todd & Julie Hold Fast To Their Faith After Verdict

Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley await their sentencing for fraud and tax evasion in October. In the meantime, they can’t talk about their trial and they stay at home under house arrest. This week on their Chrisley Confessions podcast, he spoke out about the family and the impact of the verdict. During the podcast, he said that although they feel devastated, they hold fast to their “faith.”

Todd and Julie stand a good chance of going to prison and losing their assets after their conviction. Ahead of the trial, the couple sounded upbeat and confident about winning. Actually, they genuinely seemed shocked that the jury didn’t believe they were framed by a disgruntled employee, Mark Braddock. Of course, as they previously won out in the Georgia case, they seemed to think that that federal case in Atlanta would absolve them as well. Anyway, the shock was evident in the news that did trickle out and for now, their life is on hold.

Chrisley Knows Best fans stand by Todd and Julie although some folks trip them for the crime. Of course, they worry that they might never see the USA Network show again. At the same time, a lot of people love seeing Todd’s inspirational posts about leading a Christian life. Of course, their conviction tends to give the faith a bit of a jaded reputation. However, it was once one of the first things he spoke about when they returned to their podcast on June 17.

Chrisley Knows Best – Holding Fast To Their Faith

When Todd and Julie returned to their podcast, he told his followers that it was a very difficult time for the family. Devastated, they can’t really say much beyond that. However, they can talk about their current situation. Todd said, “it’s a very sad, heartbreaking time for our family right now.” However, he added, “we’re all steadfast in our faith and we trust God will do what he does best because God’s a miracle worker.”

The Chrisley Knows Best stars might need a miracle because they plan to appeal their case, but the chances of losing probably remain high. The USA Network stars talked about the tremendous amount of “love” and “support” they receive from their fans. Todd said that they received “tens of thousands” of messages every day.” According to the reality TV star, people send things by “mail,” and some drive from all over the country” to “deliver food” or “flowers to our front door.”

The Chrisley Knows Best couple agreed that the “love” for their family is what helps them to “get up each day.” Julie asked fans to please “say a prayer for us.” Perhaps the constant stream of those who love the couple is appreciated but overwhelming. So, it seems that they’d prefer if people could “write” to them.
