Chrisley Knows Best: Katie Joy Files Counterclaim Lawsuit Against Todd

Chrisley Knows Best updates arrived via Katie Paulson’s (Katie Joy) legal team. The owner of without A Crystal Ball updated her fans about the lawsuits that she and Todd currently deal with. If you don’t know, Todd brought a lawsuit against the blogger last year. Now, the news came that Katie will be filing counterclaims against the reality TV star.

Details of what actually sparked the dispute seem a bit unclear, but fans know it involved Todd’s daughter, Lindsie.Fans do know that it was something to do with things Katie said that Lindsie told her and she apparently refused to release the deets. Actually, the case seems to be very much a “he-said, she-said, sort of thing.” At one stage, Katie Joy sent Todd a cease and desist letter but that didn’t stop him from talking about her on his podcast and on social media.

The Chrisley Knows Best star came out in August last year and vowed that the lawsuit would go ahead. That came despite claims by Katie Joy of Without A Crystal Ball that he allegedly committed a felony and extorted her. At the time, Katie Joy had previously said that he allegedly threatened her husband and her income. Well, neither party is a stranger to lawsuits, but now fans heard that the ding-dong battle continues. Actually, Todd’s not alone in bringing lawsuits against Katie, or vice versa, so her legal team must be quite busy.

Chrisley Knows Best – Without A Crystal Ball Counterclaims On Chrisley Knows Best Star

This week, Katie Joy shared a number of posts about Todd Chrisley. Actually, three arrived in a row, but for now, her latest one said, “In light of Todd Chrisley’s choice over the past year to repeatedly misstate the facts and tell lies about the activities of Katherine Paulson and Without A Crystal Ball, and in light of his ongoing and very public defamation of Ms. Paulson and WOACB during the pendency of his lawsuit against them, Ms. Paulson and WOACB have decided to withdraw their Motion to Dismiss of his complaint, and instead file counterclaims in the case, which will be served and filed in line with a timeline dictated by the Court.”

It also talked about the Chrisley Knows Best star’s upcoming criminal case. Well, fans of the blogger can expect her to continue to report on that case. However, they won’t hear her discuss the lawsuit against Todd for now. Actually, it sounds like the lawsuit might only go ahead after the outcome of the trial. Perhaps Katie hopes for more evidence to emerge to back her own issues against Todd.

Apart from the Chrisley Knows Best star’s lawsuit, Robert Shimm served his lawsuit against Katie Joy as well. It came in early April after Without A Crystal Ball, discussed the probability that the founder of the Shekinah Church and 7M Films production is running a cult.
