Kirstie Alley Joins The Tragically Long List Of Loss

The last two years have seen a terrible number of famous faces passing away. Recently, Jennifer Aniston informed her many fans that her dad passed away. Of course, “Days of Our Lives” fans mourned John Aniston who played the role of Victor. However, he was elderly and that wasn’t such a shocker. Plenty of other well-known people also passed away in 2022.

Two years before Kirstie Alley joined the sad list of loss, actress Marguerite Ray, known for “The Young And The Restless” died. And the list seems to grow almost daily. It includes celebs like John Madden, Betty White, Jay Weaver, Bob McGrath, and more. With the loss of well-known faces, everyone feels a bit sad because they take memories and treasured moments away with them.

Kirstie Alley Admirers And Celebs React

At one stage, the Cheers actor found a lot of criticism for coming out in support of Donald Trump. However, tributes that poured in came from both sides of the political dividing line. For once, it seems that one person is able to unite some of the people of the USA. Actually, it just seems sad that she had to pass away to achieve that. Mind you, some nasty ones also arrived because she was a conservative. New York Times Best Selling Author, Adam Corolla said it for a lot of folks: “I felt lucky to know you @kirstiealley. Rest in peace, my friend. ?.”

Kirstie Alley got nice tributes from people like singer/songwriter, Travis Tritt. But one of the most uniting tweets came from podcaster and author, Kimberley Johnson. Kim tweeted, “I’m sorry to hear Kirstie Alley has died. She was a Trump supporter and she blocked me, so we were not on the same page politically but that woman was immensely talented, hysterically funny and I’m grateful for her unforgettable contribution to entertainment. RIP.”

Other Fond Tributes

Emmy Award-winning actress Jackée Harry also looked beyond politics and Kirstie Alley. She tweeted, “Whether you agreed with her or not, Kirstie Alley was an undeniable talent who brought joy to many – through the screen and with her warm, hilarious spirit.”

For many fans, the fact the actress once agreed with Donald Trump is clearly offset by her excellent acting and the laughter that she brought them over the years. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
