British Royal News says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are parents again, but it may not be exactly what you think. There are reports that say the couple have just rescued a beagle! Here’s what you need to know.

Royal author and expert Omid Scobie was one of the first to break the news. He wrote on Twitter, “Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have adopted one of the 4,000 beagles rescued from the Envigo breeding and research plant in Virginia. Mamma Mia—who was saved from a life of breeding by the @beaglefreedom Project—now lives with the Sussexes in Montecito.”

According to the LA Times, Shannon Keith, an animal rights attorney who runs the Beagle Freedom Project, says the Duchess called her personally. The royal couple’s spokeswoman confirmed the visit to The Times but neither commented on the adoption. There were also no photos taken. Two security guards joined Meghan and Harry in their quest for a furry family member.

Of course, many royal fans commented on the matter with, “I used to have a beagle and would love to have another one some day so I have a soft spot for them and for other beagle owners. Love that they did this!” along with, “Harry and Meghan are so adorable. True humanitarians. I’m so happy they found one another.”

Another fan wrote, “Well that lucky pup has fallen nicely on its paws! Enjoy your new life with the best people. Harry and Meghan are truly good people and I love seeing headlines like this. The best of luck to all of them.”

British Royal News – The Sussexes Have A New Family Member

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the matter, but it’s doubtful that they will.
