B&B Star Heather Tom Talks Why Katie’s Ready To Move Past Bill And What’s In Store With Carter

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) star Heather Tom sat down with TV Insider to talk about Katie Logan and what’s ahead for her character on the CBS soap opera. Tom revealed that Katie knows that she cannot trust Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) because if Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) were single (at any point), her ex-husband would make a mad dash to her older sister to make a play for her heart.

“I think she’s beyond that now. She’s told Bill that she loves him and will always love him. Katie cares about Bill. They have a son together [Will]. She wants him to be happy, but Katie wants to be happy, too. Her response to him is adult and mature. She’s realized that she deserves better. We’ll see where it goes,” Heather explained.

It’s never been a question about love for Katie with Bill. She loves him and knows him well. But she cannot stand for his disrespect and waffling between her and Brooke. Finally, Katie sees that she deserves so much more.

Now that Carter and Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) have broken up, the handsome eligible bachelor is ready to find love again. B&B spoilers reveal that Katie is prepared to feel loved and appreciated, two things she lacked in her marriage with Bill.

As for what Carter brings into Katie’s life, the actress has a lot to say about that. “They bring excitement. They bring something new and fresh and something different. There’s nothing scandalous. It’s honest. I’m excited to see where that goes. I think Katie’s willing to rush in at this point, too. She wants to have a good time,” Tom added.
