B&B spoilers reveal that Paris has been fixated on Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) for a while. Despite Carter initially giving Grace what she wanted, Paris wasn’t happy being pushed back to Zende. Eventually, Paris told Zende how she felt about Carter.

Without even having really dated, Carter proposed to Paris. Of course, the proposal had nothing to do with Carter’s feelings for Paris. One part of it was due to Carter wanting to move on from Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and have a family. Paris was more than willing to play that part. However, the other part was to protect Quinn and Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) marriage.

Grace was in a frenzy after she couldn’t get Paris to change her mind about marrying Carter. So, Grace went to Zende to get him to do something. Zende was shocked and a bit heartbroken that Paris is already marrying Carter. As Grace demanded that Zende do something to stop Paris and Carter’s wedding, the designer refused.

Paris admitted to having feelings for Carter and wanted to explore that. Zende gave Paris the go-ahead because he wasn’t going to force her to stay in a relationship with him.

Plus, Zende was probably hoping that Carter would be a huge disappointment to Paris. Perhaps Zende assumed that Paris was just looking for ways to avoid getting closer due to her fear of commitment. Now that Zende has learned about the engagement, he can’t stand in her way.

B&B Spoilers – Delon de Metz Explains

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, de Metz explained why Zende won’t crash Paris and Carter’s wedding. It turns out it’s because Zende loves Paris so much that he wants her to be happy… even if that lies with another man.

“He’s not thrilled, but he really cares about Paris and at the end of the day, he just wants her to be happy.”

It seems that Carter and Paris’ wedding won’t be stopped by Grace or Zende. However, there is someone else who will object to the ceremony. Quinn ends up finding out about Eric and Donna Logan’s (Jennifer Gareis) affair. It is stated that Eric is the one who pushes Quinn to stop Carter’s wedding. Will Quinn get there in time, though?

Once Paris is left brokenhearted, it will be Zende who helps pick up the pieces. Will Paris realize that as crazy as her mom got, she was right about Zende being Mr. Right?
