Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will recall that in Friday, April 8th’s episode of The Bold and The Beautiful, Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) showed up at University Hospital. Deputy Chief Baker was asking questions about the shooting that killed John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and seriously injured Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood), and Sheila immediately let him know she was Finn’s birth mother. Sheila will continue to deny having any part in the shooting, and she’ll have to throw an increasingly suspicious Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) off her trail, too, considering he knew Steffy was following them when they met for talks. Viewers will recall that Thomas already asked Sheila if she had anything to do with the shooting of his sister and brother-in-law in the alley behind Il Giardino.
Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will also see longtime romantic rivals Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) call a truce as they band together with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to show solidarity for Steffy and hopes for her recovery. Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will remember that Brooke’s actively been trying to snatch Ridge’s heart away from Taylor, but she’s put that aside for Steffy’s sake – after all, her recovery is much more important than any love feud. The same goes for Hope Spencer, (Annika Noelle) who urges Steffy to fight for her life in spite of their long history of romantic rivalry, and the fact that the two stepsisters never really got along that well! Viewers know that even when someone is in a coma, in many cases when they wake up from it they’ve known everything that has gone on around them, even if they cannot respond or react-this is no time for family dysfunction to rear its ugly head!
Also during the week of April 11-15 on The Bold and The Beautiful, Sheila becomes suicidal after looking in on Steffy and dealing with guilt over killing Finn; she’ll actually walk up on the roof of University Hospital and climb up on the ledge to jump! But Taylor will follow her up there and come to her rescue, and that will cause a deep bond to form between Taylor and Sheila. Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will see Ridge taken aback when he can see Taylor opening her heart to Sheila even more, and you can bet he’ll kick up a fuss over that! Meanwhile, Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) will struggle to strike a balance between being Steffy’s older stepsister and her doctor, as she’s finding it difficult to contain her grief and fear over Steffy’s medical condition. Bridget will have the unenviable task of telling their mutual family that Steffy is not responding to standard treatments for her condition, and all they can do is wait and pray!
Later on during the week of April 11-15, viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will see Bridget relaying some better news on Steffy’s condition – she’ll tell a distraught Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that there has been a little improvement. Steffy won’t be ready to jump out of bed and go back to work or even be conscious just yet, but her vital signs and brain function that are being monitored electronically will show signs of improvement. Meanwhile, as viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful can imagine, Ridge is extremely angry at the as yet unknown perpetrator who did this to his daughter and widowed her, and he’ll vow to find them and bring them to justice! Ridge probably has a certain scheming woman in mind, but as of yet there’s no proof!
Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will see Sheila have high hopes during the week of April 18-22, because of her deepening reciprocal friendship with Taylor. Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful know that it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out that Sheila killed her own son and tried to kill Taylor’s remaining living daughter, but for now Taylor’s tender heart is clouding her judgment! Taylor likely will advocate for Sheila to be a bigger part of their mutual grandson Hayes Forrester Finnegan’s (Piper Harriot) life, because she can relate to Sheila’s pain in losing her son. Ridge, however will try to convince Taylor that Sheila’s past proves her too dangerous to trust! Meanwhile, Sheila will be nervous about Steffy’s possible coming out of her coma, but there is a question of how much she will remember; there could be post-traumatic amnesia or actual physical brain damage that will cause amnesia!
Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful haven’t seen any Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) action in a while, nor anything going on with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer). The last viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful saw going on in Carter’s love life, was a burgeoning hot relationship with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) that her mother Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) was doing her best to put to a stop! As for Quinn, she had resigned herself to a sexless but loving relationship with Eric Forrester (John McCook) and nothing has been shown about that either, after he chose her over honey bear Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis)! Bold and Beautiful spoilers tease one more big twist – could Carter and Quinn start heating up again after they share an unexpected moment?
