B&B Spoilers: The Real Reason Taylor Wants Ridge

The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) recently gave the down low real reason for the HUGE rivalry over Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye)!. Yes, that is DOWN LOW reason and talking about the rivalry between her and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) on BOLD!

What should have been a poignant and romantic line of dialogue between two parents of grown children apparently turned into a double entendre of masterful proportions by Krista Allen! Krista moonlights as a stand-up comedian and can’t seem to resist throwing a little comedy into her lines as Taylor Hayes, one of her first zingers being about Taylor’s hair. A long wig covered her own short pixie; later viewers saw her in shorter hair and Taylor opined her hair looked a little wiggy so she got it cut!

This time it wasn’t what she said, it was the way she said it that fans had a field day with! In a scene with Ridge, Taylor said the reason both she and Brooke loved him so much was his huge (long pause) heart!

B&B Spoilers – An Observant Fan Tweeted Krista Allen As To Whether That Pause Was Scripted

An observant fan noted that long pause between “huge” and “heart” and questioned as to whether that long pause was scripted, or another one of Krista’s comedic zingers! In the episode in question, Taylor was in doctor mode as she tried to calm Ridge, validating inner turmoil she sensed over herself, his ex-wife, and Brooke, his current wife.

According to The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Taylor was explaining why both she and Brooke love him so much and the line itself had nothing naughty in it, but the long pause implied it did! She clarified to the enquiring fan that it was scripted “only in her perverted-oops!-professional head!” complete with a little purple devil head emoticon! What is huge – unsure if it’s because of his huge (long pause, ahem!) heart is the huge rivalry over Ridge –it’s lasted literally years, much longer than – well, you know!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – A Down Low Compliment But A Low Down Rivalry

Taylor may have given Ridge a “down low” compliment but the rivalry over him mainly instigated by Brooke could be considered low down! Ridge was engaged to someone else when Brooke first chased after him, and when she couldn’t have him she snagged Eric Forrester (John McCook)! Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) didn’t give her that famous derogatory nickname for no reason at all, after all; fans noticed another Krista zinger related to that nickname in a scene.

The word was slightly different, but the meaning was basically the same when Taylor told Brooke, relating to an appointment, “See You Next Tuesday” – in code! Think about it – you’ll figure it out!

B&B Spoilers – A Huge Heart Or A Huge Head?

Ridge and Taylor’s grown children have a very good point about how many times Brooke has hurt Ridge by cheating with other men. It seems that with the loving and kind Taylor Hayes she has a huge heart that makes Ridge’s heart much huger as well. He feels safe with her – but Brooke offers passion and fire, and appeals to his ego. That begs the question if with Brooke, he has more of a huge heart or maybe that’s a huge head! Perhaps his heart would be safer with Taylor but his ego gets more strokes from Brooke, and that’s a great big deal for a man to choose between the two!
