B&B Spoilers: Steffy Inserts Herself Into Hope’s Douglas Drama

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) will insert herself into Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) drama. She’ll keep insisting that Douglas is a Forrester and he needs to live with the Forresters, specifically with his father Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers -Territorial Much?

Steffy acts like a territorial tomcat claiming territory for Thomas concerning his son; even though Thomas is quite able to act in his own best interests. Even Thomas isn’t expecting sole custody and doesn’t want to tear Douglas away from the only mother he’s ever known, he asked for Hope’s help. Douglas was too young to remember Caroline Forrester; (Linsey Godfrey) he was only a baby when she died.

Hope doesn’t appreciate Steffy’s inserting herself into what should be a family matter between her and Thomas; she realizes Douglas’ own wishes need to be considered also and they are. Hope doesn’t want to do anything that’s not in the boy’s best interests and both Steffy and Thomas should know that.

B & B Spoilers – Parent Trapping To Parent-Child Trapping

In essence, Steffy is showing the same pattern with Thomas and Douglas as she is with her mother Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and father Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Only in this case, she’s going from parent trapping to parent-child trapping to reunite Douglas with Thomas, and only Thomas. Perhaps she sees too much of Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) in Hope, and it’s like the same rivalry between Brooke and her mother in Thomas and Hope. Brooke has hurt Ridge over and over and perhaps Steffy fears Hope will hurt Douglas – or maybe Brooke will have too much access to him. Taylor has been Thomas’ biggest cheerleader in getting his son back with him and Steffy’s siding with her mom.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Butt Out, Please

Hope’s frustration mounts to the point where she’d like to throw a few choice words at Steffy, even tempted in front of children. They never were good stepsisters growing up during those times Steffy’s dad and Hope’s mom were together – they were always rivals, usually over men. Now it would seem they are rivals over a little boy and Steffy had the chance to mother Douglas as his aunt and didn’t.

Hope finally has to just say it and warns Steffy she won’t like what she’s about to hear. She calls her out on some of her own past failures to be there for her nephew and quite simply tells her to butt out.
