The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) finally admitted to what seemed obvious. She has money. That comment perked Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) interest.

B&B fans were wondering how Sheila, an ex-con with a notorious history and no known job, was living in a nice hotel suite for months. It seemed plausible that her connection with a sporadically seen hotel employee explained her bills being paid.

But it appears more likely that the stash of cash Sheila has was funding her existence. This money source may also cause Deacon to harbor a fugitive the Los Angeles Police Department believe was eaten by a bear in the woods.

Deacon told Sheila to leave. He said there was no reason for her to stay with him until she gave him one.

Brown’s character blurted out the comment about having a lot of money. That caught Deacon by surprise. His response was also telling. Deacon asked Sheila how much she had.

Reams of digital posts could be written and read, with speculation regarding Sheila’s unexplained fortune. It seems unlikely that she is lying about the stash because Deacon will likely call on her to deliver a portion of it to him in return for providing a seemingly safe haven.

B&B Spoilers – Deacon Sharpe Has Changed, For The Most Part

Deacon’s tell to his inexperienced parole officer was generally true. Kanan’s character has changed.

While Deacon has gotten a respectable job and lives in a better apartment than his original storage closet abode, he is not without his faults. A night of hard drinking at Il Giardino’s bar caused Deacon to drop his guard.

Going off the wagon was dumb on New Year’s Eve, with that lesson being unlearned. Deacon’s overuse of alcohol prevented him from realizing that Sheila was masked and wigged. Now, he is likely stuck with her.

Can Deacon be considered Sheila’s boyfriend? Yes, and that term is not outdated, as only overly serious souls make themselves uptight about affectionate terms people use for romantic interests.

Sheila needs time to plan another comeback. Deacon wanted no parts of it. But what would soap be without conflict?

Linking these two great B&B characters is brilliant soap. Kudos to TPTB for doing so as the audience prepares for whatever delicious drama is ahead.
