Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has spent decades making audiences believe she’s come undone for good. Heck, perhaps even she has believed this was it, her last moments of fake sanity. But this time she killed her own son, the one she wanted to get to know so bad, so this incident is worse than all the previous ones. And who knows what she did prior to 1990 when she was first introduced as a character on The Young and the Restless?

She also has no desire to be caught in her lies because she is typivcally just out for number one and that mens her own self. She may claim it’s all about her children, but for Sheila, it’s mainly about self-preservation. Isn’t that why she was aiming that gun at Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to begin with? So nobody would know what she did to Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) on New Year’s Eve?

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan And Taylor Hayes Spar

Speaking of Brooke, she once again sticks her nose where it doesn’t belong when it comes to Steffy. She is out to protect her daughter, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), and she is not about to allow Steffy to get in the way of Hope’s life with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) ever again. So what if she is in a fragile mental state, was just shot, and just lost her own husband to a bullet. This is all about Hope and nobody else.

To that end, both Hope and Brooke end up having words with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) about Steffy’s treatment and ust teling her the truth rather than allowing Liam to pretend he is still her husband. Taylor is a mental health professional and Steffy’s mother, so she thinks she knows best. But this mental health professional also can’t seem to figure out that Sheila is not mentally stable, so should anyone take her advice about Steffy?
