There are few characters on soaps as delusional as Sheila Carter, believing nothing is ever her fault or accidents will be accidents. After all, she didn’t mean to shoot her own son and leave him for dead. She was trying to shoot Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) instead and John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) stepped in front of the bullet. She also didn’t mean to leave him and Steffy lying there in their own blood but it just happened.

Sheila thinks all of this will make sense to Steffy and Finn so she intends to tell them, whether they want to listen or not. She is tired of hiding, tired of being on the run, and she just wants to be a part of her son’s and grandson’s lives. She was actually earning that chance a year ago but then went and switched those champagne labels, causing Brooke to drink. But she doesn’t think it’s too late for her, so it’s onto a brand-new plan.

BB Spoilers – Sheila Carter Has Steffy Forrester And John ‘Finn’ Finnegan Trapped

Armed with the fantasy that Steffy and Finn will forgive her and let them into her life, she drives down to the beach and cuts the power to their home. Imagine their surprise when Sheila walks straight into their living room ready to plead her case.

“She is caught in a vulnerable position and she’s really hoping that they will listen,” Kimberlin Brown said in the January 9, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Sheila definitely thinks there is potential for that. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have gone through all of what she has been going through. She definitely thinks there is a path to family or she would not be trying so hard.”

Don’t expect Steffy and Finn to be very receptive to what Sheila has to say considering what she did to them is pretty unforgivable on any level. But Sheila refuses to live in a world where that is true so that is going to be a problem for Steffy and Finn and it’s going to be a struggle to end this nightmare fast.
