B&B Spoilers: Ridge Needs To Reassess – Eric Provides Guidance

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was rejected before he could offer his decision. Kaye’s character did not consider his two multiple time ex-wives, who are the mothers of his children, would deny him a choice.

Ridge’s assumption that he had a say in his life was countered by Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) belief that their new alliance sets the standard. Viewers could debate that all three points in the triangle are selfish, as their actions within this eternal conflict negatively impacted many other people for years, not just themselves.

Brooke arguably ran Ridge through the wringer far more times than he wronged her. Lang’s character admitted doing so on many occasions, with the most recent admission being her impertinent reconnection with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

But her choice to be linked to Deacon was actually not about boldness. Instead, she demonstrated compassion for Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) father.

Taylor arguably caused Ridge far less grief than Brooke ever did. But there likely is no real debate about Ridge and Brooke creating far more problems for others than Ridge and Taylor ever did.

What Brooke and Taylor realized was legitimate. They should not battle each other for Ridge because it was dysfunctional for themselves, their families, others.

B&B Spoilers – Eric Forrester Is Not A Paragon

Eric Forrester (John McCook) is not saint. But the man admitted to his shortcomings through the years and developed a reputation for offering wise advice and giving others a chance to redeem themselves.

McCook’s character is a great patriarch of his family. Eric is held in high esteem by his loved ones because of his selfless nature. Eric looks out for others and offers an open heart, home, and business.

Ridge has taken his father’s advice but has not always implemented it. However, he should do that at this point in the plot because it appears to be a watershed moment.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Must Recognize What He Did

Ridge’s love for Brooke and Taylor is not questioned by either lady. His children have also been fully supported. Sometimes that support has arguably been enabling their poor decisions.

So, Ridge should heed the advice Eric is teased to offer. Kaye’s character should also take time to determine what a healthy romantic relationship should be.

Ridge may decide to eventually pursue Brooke or Taylor. Either B&B character may reconnect with him as well. But a returned character, or a new lady, could also be written into B&B’s script.
