B&B Spoilers: Ridge Leaves Despite Love – Brooke Mostly To Blame

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) heard the magic words. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) told her that she will always be his Logan and is the one.

While Ridge reaffirmed his love for Brooke, he also told her that they were done. Despite Brooke’s fears, she did not expect her husband to reach that conclusion and then follow through with the break.

The volume of marriages and divorces that Brooke and Ridge have lived through means that reconciliation is always possible or even likely. But both characters’ storylines are separating onto different paths.

Ridge cooled down. He talked with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) but chose not to break his vows to Brooke at the cliff house.

The above is a stark contrast between Brooke’s actions and Ridge’s reaction. While he did seek the consolation of his Forrester family, Kaye’s character was not seeking revenge by being with Taylor.

Ridge felt certain that Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) return to town would result in Brooke’s life being disrupted. She did not take Ridge’s advice, and they both suffered the consequences.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Spencer And Steffy Forrester Finnegan Fight

Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) does not appreciate Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) insertion of herself into this matter. But Steffy was not about to be stopped from promoting her mother and defending her father or the reverse depending upon one’s perspective.

Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) have harbored a joint grudge for years against Brooke. They have held her responsible for taking Ridge from Taylor, which is a childlike point of view.

Brooke never took Ridge from Taylor. Ridge chose to be with Brooke on more than one occasion. So, the basis of the fight between Hope and Steffy involves a logical gap that can never be closed.

Brooke was frightened that she would lose Ridge if he learned the details about New Year’s Eve and early New Year’s morning. Her fears proved out as Ridge was unable to accept Brooke’s explanations.

And the use of the word explanations, rather than excuses, is correct. Even with Brooke acknowledging the truth, which did not include her doing anything in the overnight hours with Deacon, her mere involvement with this specific man was the miscalculation.

Brooke probably will not be alone for long. But she will need time to grieve the loss of her soul mate and need to process why the drama happened as it did on B&B.
