B&B Spoilers: Liam Confronts Thomas About His Ulterior Motives

The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will confront Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) soon, questioning his motivations. Liam doesn’t trust him at all where Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is concerned, and thinks he’s using the custody situation with Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) to be around Hope more too.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Obsession Renewed

Liam cannot forget why he and Hope have had Douglas living with them in the cabin to begin with, after the sick things Thomas did when Douglas was little. Sick things like frightening him with monsters from a projector on his bedroom ceiling, sick things like faking his own death in a vat of acid causing Hope to blame herself. He remembers the stalking and the almost falling to his death when they got into that fistfight on the roof, and Thomas being obsessed with Hope.

Liam sees all the signs of his obsession with Hope returning, in Thomas’ quest to spend more and more time with his son, with Hope as the end game. As Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is convinced Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is using Douglas to get Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Liam is convinced Thomas is using him to get Hope.

B & B Spoilers – This Has To Stop

The more Liam and Brooke discuss the custody situation, the more they both believe Thomas’ obsession with Hope has returned. Thomas claims he worked long and hard in therapy to heal and get well, and Taylor backs him up; doing much of the therapy herself long distance.

They both know that this has to stop, the whole custody pursuit, and Brooke is angry Ridge doesn’t see the ploys. Eric Forrester (John McCook) prefers to stay neutral but he cannot see the danger to Douglas from Thomas either. Worse yet, there were no Logans save Hope at that Forrester family dinner that Brooke viewed as an attack; Donna Logan (Jennifer Garies) wasn’t even there.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ugly Confrontation

Liam decides he has to confront Thomas about his renewed obsession with Hope, and things do get ugly although they don’t take it to the roof. However, Liam is the one bringing all the ugliness into the conversation because Thomas refuses to react in kind; he had thoughts about being together for Douglas’s sake but dismissed them. That is the difference between now and then; Thomas understands and applies boundaries to his thinking and his situations.

He tries to explain that to Liam, but Liam is having none of it, and thinks the psychobabble mumbo jumbo is a smoke screen. It’s really hard for Thomas to hold his tongue about Liam not being able to tell the difference between real Hope and that Hope mannequin either that night.
