The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) blames both Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and the Forrester family for the shooting. Li seems to be breaking a lot of laws and acting in ways that aren’t true to her character to keep her secret. The actress explained Li’s true motivations and admitted the mother isn’t rational right now.

B&B spoilers reveal that Matsuda spoke with SoapHub about Li keeping Finn’s survival a secret. Fans have already seen in episodes that Li blames Sheila for shooting her own son. However, she also blamed the Forrester family because they have a history with Sheila.

Matsuda added a bit more information. For one thing, the only thing that is important to Li right now is Finn getting better. The actress said that nothing else matters except Finn.

Fans are pretty angry that Li is allowing Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to grieve for a man who isn’t dead. There are also the children involved. Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) is too young to understand but Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) was told that her stepfather was never coming home.

Matsuda explained that in Li’s mind, nobody’s feelings are important right now. Not Steffy’s, not the children, not even her own.

“She didn’t tell anyone because right now, everything is about Finn. She doesn’t care about anyone else’s feelings – including her own. She’s not going to tell anyone. Li, in a way, put the blame on the Forresters. That family has a history with Sheila. If he hadn’t married into that family then he wouldn’t have gotten shot. Li is upset.”

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that any guilt that Li felt about keeping Finn’s survival quiet evaporated when she saw “Steam.” Li walked into Steffy’s house to see her hugging Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

Even though Liam was offering support to a grieving Steffy, Li didn’t see it that way. Watching “Steam” be so close right after Finn’s death now is part of Li’s justification for keeping the secret.

“I think that completely justified it – seeing them hug like that. It was a red flag. On top of that, Li’s thinking is [Steffy] good enough for my son?”

Matsuda also explained that Li is acting so out of character for another simple reason: she’s not rational right now.

“Li is all about her son right now. In a way, Li’s not thinking rationally, but she is thinking about her son.”

The fact that Li isn’t being rational right now could affect her decision regarding Sheila. Even though Sheila explodes at Li for keeping Finn’s survival a secret, could they end up making an unexpected pact? In normal circumstances, Li wouldn’t even consider it. However, she is showing unnecessary cruelty to Steffy, Hayes, and Kelly. Li has broken laws to keep Finn’s survival a secret. If Li continues being irrational like this, then she could make a deal with the devil.
