Finn began coming out of his fog when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) forced her way into the scene. It is believed that coma patients are aware of conversations that happen within earshot while there are in that state.

So, the woman who raised Finn since shortly after his birth and the woman who gave birth to him appear to be the reasons why his recovery jump-started. But a lingering and important question remains. Why did Li not tell Finn’s loved ones that he was alive?

Li was operating on a continuous adrenaline rush. She rescued Finn from the hospital, where she just so happened to be working on the night Sheila shot her son.

Of course, the pronoun her is a reference to two ladies. Li and Sheila would fiercely claim that Finn is her child, with Li’s adoptive mother status overriding Sheila’s biological place due to her abandoning Novlan’s character after his birth.

Li’s feelings were also impacted because of Jack Finnegan’s (Ted King) exposed actions. She learned at Finn’s wedding that Jack was not a co-adoptive parent but that he was the biological father, with Sheila being his scandalous connection.

Steffy is right to question Li. As Finn’s wife, she deserved to know that her husband was alive. But the soapy circumstances that Li was dealing with must be considered.

Matsuda’s character was solely focused on Finn’s survival. She put protective walls up, believing any mistake could cost him his life.

Li and Steffy seem likely to reach common ground after a hashing out period. Plus, they will instantly unite if Sheila returns for yet another round of chaos on B&B.
