B&B Spoilers: Katherine Kelly Lang Spends Mother’s Day In The Hospital

The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers indicate that Katherine Kelly Lang’s (Brooke Logan) Mother’s Day adventure turned scary as she ended up in the hospital. Katherine posted a series of photos from her adventure, which started very well. However, Katherine ended up being transported by ambulance to the hospital. What happened to the B&B star?

The Bold And The Beautiful News – It Started As A Beautiful Ride

Katherine posted yesterday, “I started out on a beautiful ride yesterday with friends. Our plan was to do 40 miles for training for the 50 mile horse race coming up in June. It was a beautiful day!” Katherine also posted videos and photos from her ride as the group she was with enjoyed the scenery. However, when they got to the 16-mile marker, Katherine jumped off of her horse to walk down what she described as a “steep, and very rocky trail.” Katherine did this to give the horse a break, however, she ended up with a break of her own. Katherine stated, “At the bottom of the trail I tripped on a rock and my left foot took the pounding. My ankle and foot dislocated off to the left at a 90-degree angle to my leg.”

B&B News – “I Was Forced To Push It Back Into Place”

The Bold And The Beautiful star says that if the accident wasn’t bad enough, she was forced to push her ankle back into place. Katherine says it was gross but she had to do it. Thankfully, they were close to a road so a good samaritan called 911 while her friends help with her horse and her spirits. Lang posted another photo of the EMTs taking care of her while she was sitting on a stretcher. Lang reveals that the x-ray showed that she had three broken bones in her ankle.

The Bold And The Beautiful News – Katherine Kelly Lang’s Surgery

After her untimely accident, The Bold And The Beautiful star now has rods, pins, and screws in her ankle and has been banned from bearing weight in it for the next six weeks. Therefore, it seems that when Katherine returns to work next week, Brooke will be doing a lot of sitting. “I will still go to work later this week and try to heal quick so I can do all the things I love to do,” Lang stated. “I am not a happy camper when things slow me down like this. And there is always a lesson to learn. Not sure what that lesson is yet but will have the time to contemplate.”

Will Katherine’s accident be written into the soap? It seems that Brooke may have to tangle with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) or take a tumble thanks to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). A broken ankle is going to be rather hard to hide for six weeks. We wish Katherine a very speedy recovery.
