The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is not facing a two-on-one situation. He believes that Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) could be persuadable.

However, teasers indicate that Mike will soon face legal problems. Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) is tipped-off to Mike’s connection to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) by Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Meanwhile, Sheila faces the problem of not being able to keep her son contained. She is reliant on powerful liquid sedatives to handle Finn, with available supplies and Mike’s coming inability to help cue a ticking clock.

Mike’s comment about wanting to run away with Sheila was ambiguous. It appeared that showing her Finn’s death certificate meant she should leave him to die.

It is natural that Mike would think Sheila is that callous. She left him for dead in the alley behind Il Giardino. But Hanes’ character misinterpreted her use of the paddles to shock Finn back to life as reckless.

He also believed that giving Finn a sedative killed him. With Hanes’ again line written into the script and delivered with intended campy hilarity.

It appears Finn will need to rely on someone other than Mike, who is teased to be arrested. Viewers know that Finn’s estranged father, Jack Finnegan (Ted King) recently reappeared after being conspicuously absent following his son’s apparent murder.

Jack wanted to see Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), believing that they needed to grieve together despite the separation she demanded after the Sheila birth mother reveal. Sheila believes Li died on the fateful night when they fought over Finn.

Sheila used Mike’s vehicle to chase Li to her implied death. But the lack of an accident report or confirmation of Li’s corpse leaves the daytime door open to a timely return.

Finn can not take Sheila at her word. How could he, after all she has put him and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) through to date?

Sheila has diminishing options and a recovering son, who is intent on overcoming his infamously overbearing mother. Her love is twisted, dangerous, and must be overcome by Finn and hopefully by both of his other parents on B&B.

Sheila has so often avoided justice. So, her prediction regarding a return to jail is not a slam-dunk on B&B.
