When Brooke decided to walk away, it crushed Ridge. He was ready to dedicate his life to her, only to hear that neither Taylor nor Brooke wanted to be with him.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers state that Ridge will make a grand gesture on Christmas to earn Brooke’s trust. He will ask her to marry him with a massive rock in hand. The speculation is that she will agree to marry him, despite promising Taylor she wants nothing to do with Ridge again.

It would put a damper on her newfound friendship with Taylor. They bonded over their decision to walk away. If Brooke reunites with Ridge, Taylor might feel jealous. She could feel betrayed as they decided to walk away from Ridge together.

B&B viewers know that Brooke will take Ridge back eventually. It might be too soon, still. But it will happen eventually.

Then there is November sweep spoiler that showrunner Brad Bell revealed that Brooke and Ridge would be married again before the end of the year. If that’s true, it makes sense that they would get engaged on Christmas, with a New Year’s Eve wedding.
