B&B Spoilers: Carter’s Tragic Heartbreak, How Quinn’s Exit Will Affect Him

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show that the news has broken that Rena Sofer (Quinn Fuller) will be leaving the show. She made the announcement on her social media that August 5, 2022, was her last day on set and she continued to post photos with her co-stars thanking them for a great 9 years.

Her leaving the show poses a lot of questions, now only about her character, but for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) who had just given up his marriage to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) to be with Quinn. However, if Quinn is leaving, it begs to question, what is going to happen to the star-crossed lovers?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – A Rushed End Or Happily Ever After?

While there is no way of knowing what is going to happen, let us focus on what we do know. We know that Rena’s last day as Quinn will be on August 29, so we don’t have much time before they have to explain to us what is going to happen.

Will Quinn and Carter ride off into the sunset to fulfill their love for each other and live happily ever after? In this event, it would leave the door open for Sofer to return as Quinn, but it would not explain what happened to Carter if Saint-Victor isn’t leaving the show.

However, if they rush a breakup or something terrible happens to Quinn (God forbid), that could explain her absence and the reason that Carter is still around.

B&B Spoilers – A Rushed Break-Up, Perhaps

I think the best way to explain their relationship ending would be them realizing what they had done and how they kind of rushed into it without thinking long term. Remember at the end of The Graduate when they jump on the bus and start running away to begin their life? The moment passes and then reality hits them in the face like a ton of bricks.

I see this as Quinn and Carter, except they don’t get a bus to think about what just happened. But I think it will still hit no matter what. Quinn will realize what she has given up and what she put Carter through and it may not be everything she thought it would be, causing her to rethink her actions and leave town.

While this may leave Carter heartbroken, I can see him accepting it and letting Quinn go.
