Of course, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) would be getting ready to marry Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and send Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to get his cufflinks at Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) house. Why would that be awkward and why wouldn’t Brooke just hand them over without a thought or a tear? We guess when you have no self-awareness whatsoever, this is what happens in life.
Either way, Carter gets an earful when he arrives. He doesn’t even let anyone know he is there yet when she decides to listen in on the conversation between Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Brooke in which he professes his undying love for her and tells her that it’s always been her and nobody else.
We guess this is news that Carter can take back to Katie Logan and let her know she was right not to take Bill back, but hey, if she wants to now be with Carter, he is all for it. We all know Carter learned from the master how to jump from one woman to the next in the blink of an eye.
The Forrester living room is ready for another wedding because of good ol’ Ridge, a man who couldn’t let the ink on his annulment papers dry. He is heading into this marriage hesitantly, but doing it nonetheless.
Little does he know that it is all under false pretenses because Brooke did not make that phone call to CPS and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) did. The only other person who knows this is Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and Thomas has been doing everything to get Douglas to keep this a secret. However, Douglas is quite angry at his dad and is sick of all the lies and games.
