Leave it to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to send Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) off to his ex-wife’s house to get a pair of cufflinks so he can marry Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), but here we are. Since this is the soap where everyone hears everything because everyone eavesdrops, Carter catches an earful at Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) house when he hears Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) asking for Katie Logan (Heather Tom) to return to him after Brooke turns him down flat.
Sure, he just professed his undying love for Brooke, but clearly, Bill has very few standards for his own morality. Will Katie fall for his shtick or is she just completely over it by now? Well, it’s a good thing Carter is there.
Hearing this prompts Carter to give Bill a piece of his mind. How dare he go back and forth between women like this, especially two sisters? Clearly, Carter has just as little self-awareness as every other man around him. It must all be rubbing off.
After telling off Bill, Carter needs to make it back to the Forrester living room where all weddings take place. He needs to perform the ceremony and Ridge and Taylor can be man and wife once again. Too bad the groom is still torn between his current bride and his former bride, which is nothing new for this man in his 60s who has been torn between these same two women for decades.
Of course, now Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) knows it was Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) who left that message for CPS and made it sound like Brooke did it. This whole wedding is under false pretenses, but is Steffy’s desire to have her parents together so strong that she will not speak up and forever hold her peace? Or, will Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) just tell everyone the truth? Stay tuned to The Bold and the Beautiful weekdays to see how these stories play out.
