Taylor had three of Ridge’s children, with Phoebe Forrester (Mackenzie Mauzy) dying in 2008. Their surviving children, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), believe that Brooke should not be part of their father’s life.

Ridge and Brooke were married an incredible eight times. That is a lot, even by soap standards, with only a handful of other characters across all daytime dramas being in that marital range.

It is fair to suggest or know that Ridge’s feelings for Brooke run deeper for her than Taylor. Lang’s alter ego also holds currency, with Taylor not being Ridge’s wife in more than a decade and a half in real-time.

Ridge went to Brooke’s home wearing the tuxedo he was supposed to remarry Taylor in, compelled to apologize. He dragged his tail and took her advice when leaving.

Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) wants her mother and Ridge to reunite. That puts Noelle’s character in continued conflict with her rival, Steffy, and renewed enemy, Thomas.

Brooke and Taylor enjoyed a good talk. They were honest and offered genuine empathy for someone who each person considers a rival.

The ladies agreed that they can not allow Ridge to continue wavering between them. That is not good for any point in this enduring triangle.
