B&B Spoilers: Brooke Has No Sympathy – Hope Is Not The Issue

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) apparently has learned nothing. She believes that reconciliation with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is still possible but badgers him and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) while just-widowed Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is obviously in a bad way?

What was Brooke thinking when she awkwardly offered a pointed opinion about how Steffy’s revealed mental state should be handled? Well, Brooke was thinking about Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), who is not the issue on B&B.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Finnegan Just Woke Up

Brooke appears oblivious to the fact that Steffy just woke up. It is not as though she has been awake for weeks or months and still believes that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is her husband.

As Taylor tried telling Brooke, Steffy’s selective memory loss reflects a coping mechanism. So, her mind is protecting itself by reverting to a safer time when she, Liam, and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) were together as a family.

The characters are not sure what Steffy witnessed. But viewers know that Steffy saw John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) take the bullet Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shot, intending to strike Wood’s character dead.

B&B Spoilers – Kelly Spencer Is SORAS’d

Devoted viewers were as surprised as Steffy to see how Kelly aged. In Steffy’s mind, she recalled her daughter being a year or so old.

It was a nice nod to the fans to pair McKinlay’s introduction, as the latest recast of this character, with Steffy’s reaction to seeing her. She, like viewers, were taken by how big Kelly got.

SORAS’ing (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) is a widely used technique in daytime. In this instance, the character appears to have been aged approximately a year or two older than she is, with Steffy and Liam’s daughter born in 2018.

Hope has become much stronger and secure in her marriage. That happened after Hope knew she was Liam’s top priority.

Finn’s introduction quickly resulted in the Steffy, Liam, Hope triangle being broken. But the death of Novlan’s character reopens the possibility that Liam will be with Steffy again.

That is why Brooke and Hope are concerned. Based on the history of that famous triangle, who can say they should not be?

Taylor said that Steffy’s coping mechanism could reflect that Liam is her true love. Maybe Brooke is not talking out of turn but predicting the future?
