B&B Spoilers: Brooke Deserves Honesty – Does Ridge Have Two Options?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) needs to hear the truth. Whether Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) admits what happened with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) or not, Brooke deserves a faithful, committed husband.

Ridge chose to believe the worst about Brooke when he saw a photo of her, Deacon, and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) in Forrester Creations’ executive offices. The intensity of his reaction reinforced either his frayed mental state, the continued dysfunction of his relationship with Brooke or possibly, both.

Ridge told Brooke in the recent past that he was exasperated. That came after the New Year’s Eve drinking incident and Deacon’s platonic overnight stay at the mansion.

Brooke was mortified by her behavior and understood why Ridge was devastated. She was disappointed in herself and could not explain why she could not break the self-sabotage pattern.

Ridge had mixed feelings of outrage and relief when learning that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was responsible for the champagne. That should have eased his mind, with Hope’s picture being questioned rather than instantly condemned.

Ridge and Brooke’s couple’s backstory dates back to the origin of this great soap opera. They became one of its power couples and, without any reasonable debate, one of the most notable couples of the era in which B&B has been on the air.

But whether Ridge and Brooke remain a destined couple has really begun to be questioned within the last year. The recast and return of Taylor provides potential to shift Ridge’s destiny from Brooke.
