Deacon knows that Brooke is fond of him and remains attracted. But she loves Ridge and wants to reunite with her husband.

It has been necessary to play the waiting game in recent weeks. Now that Ridge appears to have decided he can not take Brooke back, Deacon has an opportunity to move in.

Brooke has a reputation as being part of one couple or another. So, she seems unlikely to remain single indefinitely. Whether Deacon can develop fondness and attraction into an enduring relationship will soon be seen on B&B.
