Anna Duggar’s First Posts On Instagram Since Josh’s Transfer

Anna DuggarEver since her husband was sentenced, jailed, and even when he was transferred to Seagoville Federal Prison, Anna hasn’t said anything, Anna even went as far as completely going awol from social media and ignoring all requests for comment probably because Josh was still a 20-minute drive away from home. But after Josh was transferred to Seagoville Federal Correctional Institution which is about six hours drive, Anna decided it was time to go back to social media.

Of course, she’s still not commenting on Josh or the crimes that landed him behind bars. Instead, Anna posted a rare photo of herself, alongside her sister Priscilla on her Instagram account. It seems that Priscilla celebrated a birthday over the holiday weekend, and Anna marked the occasion by posting the sisterly selfie.

The photo briefly appeared on Anna’s Instagram Story but is no longer visible to her followers. Sooo…If you’re one of the 997,000 people who still follow Anna, then you know that she hasn’t posted anything permanent on her page since February when she posted a block of text reading simply: “There is more to the story: (See link in bio).”

The link leads users to the document that Josh’s lawyers filed appealing his conviction.

Anna Duggar’s – Family Believes Josh Is Guilty

In as much as Anna is holding to the lines that her husband is innocent and being convicted wrongly, her family members (the ones who raised her) don’t seem to agree with her.

Priscilla has not spoken publicly on the subject of her scandalous brother-in-law. But Anna’s brother, Daniel, has occasionally spoken out against Josh.

As In Touch points out, Daniel replied to a post from Jessa Duggar after Josh was caught using the website Ashley Madison to try and cheat on Anna.

“Think for a [minute] about the victims. Tell me how you would feel if someone cheated on your sister and brought so much disgrace to you and your family?” Daniel wrote at the time. “I have told her I would pay for her to move out here with me and pay for her kids … I don’t think Josh will see that this is a big deal and be truly broken until that happens.”

Of course, when it comes to Josh’s depravity, that cheating scandal turned out to be just the tip of the iceberg.

Perhaps the Duggars should have listened to Daniel way back in 2015.

Anna Duggar — About FCI Seagoville Josh Duggar Was Sent To

In the Seagoville description, it reads “a low security federal correctional institution with an adjacent minimum security satellite camp and a detention center” on the Bureau of Prisons website. Approximately 40% of the inmates housed in this facility were convicted for the same crimes as Josh.

One inmate, for example, is named Fernando Rivas. He’s a two-time Emmy-winning composer who worked on Sesame Street and is serving a 15-year sentence (without parole) for the production, transportation, and possession of child pornography and coercing a child “to engage in sexually explicit conduct.”

Josh was sentenced back in May to serve 151 months in jail, even if he maintains good behavior there, he won’t be let off until he has served at least 10.5 years there.
