90 Day Fiance fans met a number of Russians and Ukrainians over the years. Varya Malina comes from Russia, and Yara Zaya comes from Ukraine. So, now that Russia invaded Ukraine, both of them have spoken out. Actually, both women have a lot of haters on social media, but many TLC fans like that they take a stand on the events taking place in their home countries.

Varya is hated because she sticks by Geoffrey Paschel’s family as he faces 18 long years in prison. Meanwhile, Yara gets hated because she’s accused of just wanting a green card. However, right now they have much more on their minds than the shallow thrill of trolling. Their countries are at war with each other and both of them have family and friends living in the region.

90 Day Fiance star Yara spoke out first, which is hardly surprising. In fact, she can’t believe that this happens in the 21st century. On February 24, she said that friends told her they heard bombs exploding “at 4 AM.” Since then, she posted some footage in her stories of damage and a video of a woman crying with fear. Additionally, she commented on a now-canceled trip to Kiev in March and said it’s wrong that people should suffer because of two politicians. Now, Varya also spoke out about it.

90 Day Fiance – Varya Malina Condemns Military Aggression By Russia

Varya Malina took to her Instagram on February 24 and posted up a black card. In her caption, she wrote, “I didn’t believe this till the very end, but the worst-case scenario came true.” Well, how many people really believed that President Putin would actually start a war in Europe? Next. she rued the decision, saying, “We, Russians, will be dealing with the consequences of today for a long time to come”

Additionally, the 90 Day Fiance star says that she feels “ashamed to be a citizen of the aggressor country.” Clearly not a supporter of Putin, she ended by writing, “If one bloodthirsty old coocoo man wants to play soldiers, give him a computer game, don’t let him ruin peoples lives…Stop the war! Pray for Ukraine.

Well, she certainly is not the only Russian who feels that way. Business Insider reported that in St.Petersburg, Russia, many Russians protested the military action against Ukraine. Of course, that might blowback on their families, so folks across the world admire their bravery.

90 Day Fiance fans still loyal to Varya Malina took the comments section of her post. Many of them like that she condemned the aggression. One of them wrote, “I was wondering how the people of Russia feel about what the evil one is doing.. thank you for being a voice for them! ?? praying for Ukraine!”

Another fan urged her to post on Russian social media to add her influencer voice to stop the war. Meanwhile, one fan noted, “From the bottom of my heart, thank you for this post. ??.”
