90 Day Fiancé Teaser: Usman Reacts To Kimberly’s Shocking Proposal

In Sunday’s episode, 90 Day Fiancé star Kimberly Menzies proposes to Usman Umar with a surprising result.

90 Day Fiancé stars Kimberly Menzies and Usman Umar have had their ups and downs since first starring together on the show. What with talk of “Sojaboy” having more wives to have children, and Kim buying his family a cow, the drama continues. Meanwhile, in a teaser for Sunday’s upcoming episode, Kim fully gets her romantic side on by setting the scene for a proposal, complete with rose petals, candles, champagne and more. However, it is Usman’s reaction to the event that will truly surprise his fans.

Fans will recall that Usman was previously married to Lisa “Baby Girl” Hamme on the TLC reality show. Now, those keeping up with the latest season of Happily Ever After? already know that the Nigerian native is now involved with yet another older American woman. While the couple has had some rocky moments, Kim is ready to take their relationship to the next level and is being proactive in getting there.

In a teaser for Sunday’s 90 Day Fiancé episode released by ET, Kimberly sets up a romantic scene to propose to her Nigerian beau. Fans know that Usman’s mother disapproves of their relationship due to the age gap and the fact that Kim can’t give her grandchildren. However, Kim mentally shrugs that off by preparing to propose to Usman.

Kimberly proposes marriage to Usman

In the teaser, we see Kim laying out the scene, using candles, rose petals, champagne and photos of the pair. When Usman finally arrives home, he is astounded when he walks into the romantically decorated room. While he asks Kim what all this is about, she takes his hand and tells him she loves him more than he probably even knows. Usman responded by saying he loves her too and she then says:

We’ve been through a lot in two years, so I’m gonna [sic] ask you a question. Will you marry me?

She then gets down on one knee to present Usman with a ring and he is clearly shocked. Well, actually, Kimberly has two rings, as she wasn’t sure of his finger size. Meanwhile, Sojaboy’s reaction will totally surprise 90 Day Fiancé fans, as he responds:

If marrying you is what truly will make you happy in this life, I’m ready to marry you, I’m telling you.

I never expected this, and I will repeat and say, yes yes yes.

Speaking to the cameras, Usman explains how touched he was by her proposal. He says:

When Kimberly goes down on her knee, it’s not my culture, but like, it’s beautiful and she’s trying to show me how much she loves me and how she’s ready to be with me regardless of anything that’s going to happen.

He continued, saying, “I have to accept it, it’s something touching actually. Look at how she took much time decorating the whole house. It looks so romantic and I feel loved.”
