While 90 Day Fiancé stars Jovi and Yara visit her mom in Prague, he is feeling targeted by her plans.
On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren are visiting her mom in Prague. While there, Yara upsets her husband by wishing to get an apartment in Europe to be close to her mother. Speaking of what he calls her “crazy” plan, Jovi insists this wasn’t part of the plan. Read on to find out more about Yara’s latest ideas and Jovi’s reaction.
Last week on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Yara aired the idea that she wishes them to move to Europe. Meanwhile, in a teaser for this Sunday’s episode, Yara has shocked Jovi with a plan to buy an apartment in Europe. According to Jovi, this wasn’t part of their plan and he feels like Yara’s mother is influencing her.
Meanwhile, Yara, 31, and Jovi, 32, are getting ready for their day, while visiting her mother, Olga, in Prague. Jovi asks her what her plans are for the day and she totally shocks him. It turns out Yara wants to go apartment hunting in the city.
Yara explains to Jovi, “I talked with my mom yesterday, and she was telling me she would really like me over here, so we’re going to check some apartments here.”
A little shocked, Jovi asks her, “Apartments? For what?” while deeming Prague to be a “random place” where they had decided to meet her mom. Yara is quick to respond, saying:
Random place? This is not a random place, this is the place where my mom lived for so many years.
Jovi went on to tell Yara that she should have discussed her plan with him, especially if this is something she has been planning all along.
Yara responds, saying it wasn’t her intention, adding, “My mom sent me places, and I just want to go and check. What’s wrong with that?”
Jovi shockingly responds, saying, “Oh, so your mom is the problem here?”
After the discussion, Jovi tells the cameras, “This wasn’t part of the plan, I feel like her mom is influencing her.”
He added that this is something they haven’t talked about, adding that they didn’t say, “Oh hey, let’s plan a trip to Europe and go apartment hunting.” He added that he doesn’t want Yara’s mom, Olga, to make decisions for her.
Returning to the room, Jovi says that his mom had warned him that Yara would want to stay in Europe. Moreover, he says that this now seems to be “becoming a reality.”
Meanwhile, Yara responds, saying she is not staying in Europe and all she wants to do is check the place, adding:
I don’t know, I’d really like to be closer to my family. Everybody’s coming here right now and I feel like they will need my support.
Jovi is quick to remind her how much work it was to set up their life in the US. He also reminded her that one of the restrictions on her green card is that she must remain in the US for 180 days of the year. Dufren added:
You can’t just get up and live in Europe. For you to even be considering this right now is kind of crazy to me. You agreed to come to the US and start a new life in the US.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian reality star reminds Jovi that she cannot return to her home in Ukraine. She asks him if he feels she is doing something stupid, telling him she can buy the apartment with her own money.
Jovi shoots back, telling Yara that they are a family and that whatever she wants to do, she needs to talk to him first, and not try to make decisions without him.
