90 Day Fiancé Star Yve Arellano Files For Divorce From Mohamed Abdelhamed

While it is likely no surprise for 90 Day Fiancé fans, Yve Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed are heading to divorce.

90 Day Fiancé fans know too well how rocky the relationship was between Yve Arellano, 48, and Mohamed Abdelhamed, 25. It was a relationship that couldn’t work, no matter what. Now, according to court documents, Yve has filed for divorce from Mohamed on Thursday, September 22 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

It is certainly no surprise to fans that the marriage between Yve Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed was fated to end. In fact, Yve’s representative previously told ET that their future “will most likely be a divorce.”

While the TLC reality stars got married in January, it was unlikely to last, due to domestic violence charges and a cheating scandal. Now, it is officially over.

Yve Arellano accused of ‘battery and assault’

A recent police report from Albuquerque Police Department on August 15 revealed that Arellano had been charged with battery and assault against Abdelhamed. Meanwhile, the charges were related to an alleged altercation with her now-estranged husband.

According to the report, Mohamed accused Yve of becoming “very violent and angry” when she drinks. Abdelhamed accused Yve of hitting him on several occasions, while he also alleged that she, too, was having an affair.

Moreover, Mohamed told police that among her threats, she even claimed she would “get him sent back to Egypt.” However, as he is a “stranger in a strange land,” Mohamed was afraid of calling the police for help when Yve attacked him. However, after living with her in her Albuquerque home, he said he moved out earlier this month.

Yve denies all allegations

While all this was going on, Yve’s representatives denied all of the abuse allegations. They told ET they were “false” and were made up by Abdelhamed to avoid deportation from the USA.

Meanwhile, the alleged violent altercation is said to have happened after an update on the 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All revealed that Mohamed had cheated on Yve. This came after various texts revealed him contacting another woman.

Whether Yve Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed will star in a future season of 90 Day: The Single Life is currently known.
