90 Day Fiancé Star Kobe Has Trust Issues After Emily Buys Her Own Engagement Ring

Before 90 Day Fiancé star Kobe has even had the chance to propose, Emily has gone out and bought her own engagement ring.

A teaser for Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé reveals Kobe, having “trust issues” after Emily went out and bought herself an engagement ring. However, the teaser also reveals that Emily is “feeling really, really guilty” over jumping the gun before Kobe had a chance to propose.

In a teaser clip for Sunday’s episode, Emily can be heard saying that realizing Kobe had gone to the trouble to go out and find the ring, set up a nice date and give it to her, she is feeling “really, really guilty now” that she bought her own ring.

Emily admits that it is weighing on her conscience, but she doesn’t really know how to tell him about it, but feels she that the sooner she tells him the better. So, she is going to tell him now and get it off her chest so it can be over and done with.

Emily says she must confess something, to which Kobe responds, “What?” She hands him the ring and he says he doesn’t understand. She explains that she bought her own ring, in case he didn’t buy her a ring and he asks, “Why?”

“What was the reason of getting the other ring,” he asks, to which Emily replies, “Because I liked it.” This leads to the family chipping in with their own questions, including whether she will return the ring now Kobe has bought her one. Emily says that she can, and will, return the ring to the jewelry store. However, Kobe is still unclear about his fiancé’s thought process.

“You’re giving me an impression like you felt like I couldn’t do it. Or, I couldn’t afford you an engagement ring, or what?” he says.

Kobe hands Emily the ring box and admits he “doesn’t want to look at” her choice of engagement ring.

In his own confessional, Kobe said that he worked so hard for them to have quality time together. However, when she came out with another ring, it was like “raising eyebrows on trust issues.”

Meanwhile Kobe

“You don’t trust my word, you don’t take my word. You try to underlook me,” he adds to the camera.”

“After a beautiful moment we’ve had, I feel so insulted. Like, seriously. It’s really hurtful.”
