90 Day Fiancé Star Kobe Feels Guilty Not To Share Baby News On Wedding Day

Shortly before the vows, 90 Day Fiancé star Emily’s father David shares a moving message with Kobe.

This week on 90 Day Fiancé, Emily’s father, David and Kobe share a heartwarming heart-to-heart at the wedding, prior to the vows. David tells the shortly-to-be-husband, “I love you like a son.” The last-minute bonding between the two men leads to tears of happiness. However, Kobe struggles to hide the latest baby news from Emily’s family.

In a teaser for Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé’s, Kobe and Emily are about to tie the knot. However, before they can say “I do,” Emily’s father shares a bonding moment with his soon-to-be son-in-law. Before they can say their vows, David Bieberly and Kobe are almost in tears. However, Kobe feels uncomfortable keeping a secret from Emily’s parents.

David opened up in a private interview, saying it hit him that morning that his daughter is getting married. He said it is a big deal, as he previously had “serious doubts” before Kobe arrived in America. Moreover, David added:

But he sent me a letter telling me how much he loved Emily and that he wanted my permission to marry her, and I wrote him a letter back saying it’s important for him now to step up to the plate and take care of things.

David gives Kobe a gift

While looking forward to the ceremony, David gives Kobe a gift, while referencing the letters they had exchanged. Both men are clearly tearful as Kobe thanks him for the gift. Moreover, David tells Kobe, “It’s your job now. That’s for you, Emily and Koben.”

You take charge, you gotta head them in the right direction.

The new father-in-law tells Kobe that the gift is meant to be kept between the two of them. As they embrace, Kobe expresses his appreciation for the gift, while laughter mixes with tears.

“Alright man,” David tells Kobe, “I love you like a son, so it’s going to be a good day.”

Meanwhile, Kobe tells David, “It’s not easy, you know?”

David said in a later interview that he gave Kobe something personal that he wanted him to have. He wanted him to have this, as it would remind him of what his letter said to Kobe. “It’s a really beautiful thing.”

Later, Kobe reveals to the cameras what was partly responsible for his tears. He said he does respect Emily’s father so much, but it really hurt him, not to tell him about the pregnancy.

I feel like he trusts me so much. It’s going to be like I failed him, and I am afraid that I might ruin everything. But I just can’t take this anymore.

However, on the big day, Kobe is in a room with David when he breaks, saying, “I can’t do this.” He says David is going to feel like he betrayed him. In fact, Kobe says, “I might ruin everything, but I can’t take this anymore.”

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Expecting Second Child

Fans will remember last month how Kobe and Emily found out they were pregnant with their second child. This was particularly a problem as her parents had agreed to let them and Koben stay at their house. However, this came with a condition, that they do not have another child before they had found their own home.
