After a rocky start with Usman Umar’s family, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? stars Usman and Kimberly Menzies finally received the family’s blessing to wed. Meanwhile, after this, Kim took to her Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes images of that moment.

Kimberly Menzies and Usman Umar haven’t exactly had the easiest time on the current season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? In fact, there have been a number of rocky moments where many people, including Kim’s son, Jamal wanted her to end the relationship.

Meanwhile, the main reason for this was that her family and friends feel Usman is only taking advantage of her to get to the US. Many point out his previous failed marriage with another older American woman, Lisa “Baby Girl” Hamme, which does seem to justify their feelings.

Despite the negativity, Kim stayed true to her love for Usman and his pure intentions and even proposed to the Nigerian rapper. Meanwhile, the 90 Day Fiancé star’s mom also wants him to marry a younger woman who could give him kids and grandkids for her.

Kim and Usman get family blessings

Meanwhile, Usman’s mom gave her blessings but added a condition. She told her son that he must visit home every three months and marry a second wife for the children. In fact, he happily signed a document to that effect.

After the union between Usman Umar and Kimberly Menzies was blessed by his family, she shared a series of happy images taken with Umar’s family at the time. Among the images is one where Kim is posing with Usman’s mom and older brother. Another showed the happy couple posing with his mom with smiles on their faces. Moreover, Kim wrote a simple caption for the images, “The blessing ❤.”

While Kimberly is radiantly happy in the images, 90 Day Fiancé fans aren’t quite as excited. Some were happy for the TLC reality star, while others were concerned over the deal she signed with Usman’s mom. Moreover, another fan said how glad they were that Umar’s mom gave her blessings as watching all the back and forth on the show was stressful. Meanwhile, they did say the latest episode clearly showed how much Usman loves her.

However, being social media, there were also naysayers, one of which suggested that the arrangement only favors Usman. In fact, he would finally get the chance to travel to the US and pick up another wife. However, as one fan noted, the polygamy side of things might be a problem for his K-1 visa. Meanwhile, they could have a point. We all know the problems the cast of Sister Wives went through for plural marriage. The fan wrote:

I can’t believe Kimberly, doesn’t know if Usman comes to the USA and they know of a 2nd wife, his opportunity to become a US citizen, isn’t going to happen, he will not be approved a Visa.
