Kim Menzies debuted on the TLC show when she made her way to Tanzania to witness the filming of Usman Umar’s music video for his song “Zara.” The two created a friendship online when Kim messaged the Nigerian rapper after seeing him on a “90 Day” franchise with his ex-wife, Lisa “Baby Girl” Hamme. When they finally met in person, they became closer and Usman considered Kim as his “potential girlfriend.”

Their relationship was not well-received by fans when Kim started to give expensive gifts to the musician, such as PlayStation 5 and MacBook Pro. The San Diego resident was also slammed by viewers online when she convinced Usman to sleep with her in one room and be intimate with her. However, after all the criticisms they received, the two became officially in a relationship.

In the latest episode of the “90 Day” franchise, the determined Kim showed how ready she was to take her relationship with Usman to the next level. The mother-of-one turned the room into a romantic area, laying out candles, rose petals, and champagne. She held her lover’s hand and express her undying love for him.

“We’ve been through a lot in two years so I’m gonna ask you a question. Will you marry me?” Kim got down on one knee and offered Usman a ring. The Nigerian rapper couldn’t believe his eyes and happily agreed to the marriage proposal.

In a confessional, Usman stated how he appreciated Kim’s effort in making him feel loved and important. “I have to accept it. It’s something touching, actually. Look at how she took much time decorating the whole house. It looks so romantic and I feel loved,” he said.

On the other hand, Usman’s brother, Faruq, liked Kim when he knew that the TLC star was once a soldier. Despite Faruq’s fondness for Kim, the matriarch still hasn’t convinced, leading Usman to consider the idea of making a younger woman his first wife.
