90 Day Fiancé Star Jibri & Miona Gain Support From Jovi & Yara

While 90 Day Fiancé stars Jibri and Miona have so far faced criticism from fans, the newbies do have support from other cast members.

Since season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé started, the TLC show has been something of a snooze-fest. Meanwhile, two new cast members, Jibri and Miona, have been slammed with criticism from viewers. However, Jibri recently revealed how he knows former cast members, Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya.

Jibri Bell recently debuted on season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé along with his Serbian girlfriend, Miona. The pair originally met in Serbia and, following a few dates, fell in love. This led to Jibri to propose to the Serbian beauty and apply for the necessary K-1 visa.

Since Miona arrived in the US she is finding it hard to adjust to the new country and culture. Meanwhile, she also doesn’t want to live with Jibri’s parents in their Rapid City house. She actually wants to move to a larger city to kick start her own makeup brand. Does that sound familiar?

However, Miona, 23, has also accused Jibri’s mother, Mahala Bach, of not making her welcome in their house and asking her to dress modestly. Admittedly, some fans feel Mahala is right to be concerned over her potential daughter-in-law. However, others feel Mahala is hypocritical and judgmental. Whatever the true story, it looks like Jibri’s Mom doesn’t like Miona and isn’t excited at the thought of her being her daughter-in-law.

While Mahala and some 90 Day Fiancé fans are critical of Jibri and Miona’s relationship, some fellow cast members have made them feel welcome. In fact, Jibri posted on his Instagram that Jovi and Yara were the first people from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise to contact them.

In an Instagram post, Jibri wrote, “@jovid11 and Yara were the first cast members from the show to reach out and show us love, adding, “Nothing but respect and class!” Meanwhile, Jibri seems truly excited to have received support from Jovi and Yara.

For their part, Jovi and Yara don’t often comment on fellow cast members’ posts, but it looks like they genuinely like Jibri and Miona. Yara held a Q&A session on Instagram where she told her fans how much she likes the latest season of the TLC reality show.

Yara explained that she loves the fact that Patrick has learned Portuguese to be able to converse with Thaís, his Brazilian girlfriend. Meanwhile, she also said that Bilal irritates her, especially when he tries to belittle Shaeeda. However, when it comes to Jibri and Miona, she believes they make a beautiful couple.

Along the way, fans have said that in some ways, Jibri and Miona remind them of Yara and Jovi. Just like Yara, Miona is trying to build her own makeup brand in the US and is something of a fashionista. As the latest season of the TLC reality show continues, fans will have to see whether Jibri and Miona increase in popularity.
